AVP Client

As an AVP, Client at Assurely, you will play a critical support role in our client service team. This position is designed for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who excels in client servicing and account coordination. 

You will work closely with the VP, Client, and SVP, Client, supporting them in client servicing, administration, retention, and the upselling of additional products. This is a limited client-facing role but crucial in ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and support. You will blend administration - both client and internal processes, client advisory and support, carrier submissions and discussions, among other general account servicing functions ensuring a well-rounded, efficient client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the SVP and VP, Client to service existing accounts, identify cross-selling opportunities, and strengthen client and partner relationships.

  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date client records in agency management systems and prepare periodic reports on account status, retention rates, and growth metrics.

  • Coordinate and manage insurance marketing efforts, renewals, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

  • Support the preparation and submission of accurate and complete insurance applications and policy endorsements.

  • Assist in creating and/or updating insurance presentations and proposals via the Assurely platform or otherwise while generally supporting business development efforts within targeted market segments.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact, when appropriate, for client inquiries, coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues promptly and ensuring exceptional client service.

  • Analyze client data to identify trends and opportunities for service improvement and contribute to the execution of client team objectives and key results (OKRs) 

  • Collaborate with the operations team to streamline processes, improve service delivery, and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and best practices.

  • Advocate Assurely's brand and culture with external and internal partners, ensuring alignment with company values and goals.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in client servicing, account management, insurance account coordination, or a related role

  • Current and valid insurance license(s)

  • Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts, projects, and deadlines in a detailed and organized manner.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts to clients of varying expertise levels.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems, agency management software, and Google Workspace (Gsuite).

  • Familiarity with common insurance software platforms and tools, including carrier rating systems, document management solutions, and other relevant technology.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Analytical skills to interpret client data and identify opportunities for service improvement.

  • Demonstrated commitment to client satisfaction, relationship-building, and relationship management.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills, especially in dynamic or ambiguous situations.

  • A proactive, resourceful approach to tasks and challenges.

Nice to haves

  • Specific experience in key sectors such as construction, contractors, financial services, or digital assets.

  • Experience with multiple lines of business insurance coverage, including Professional Liability, Cyber Liability, General Liability, Workers Compensation, and Commercial Property.

  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools or software.

  • Experience in client-facing roles beyond account coordination.

  • Experience with or exposure to startup environments.
